Meet Dr. Raj Sawh-Martinez
Dr. Raj Sawh-Martinez is a board certified, fellowship-trained plastic surgeon who places emphasis on natural results for his cosmetic and reconstructive surgery patients. His private practice, RSM Craniofacial & Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, is a medical spa where he focuses on helping patients achieve their aesthetic goals with artistic precision.
After graduating with honors from New York University with a bachelor's in Neural Science, Dr. Sawh-Martinez attended the Yale University School of Medicine. It was at Yale that he earned a coveted position within the university’s plastic and reconstructive surgery residency program with a Chief Resident appointment at Yale-New Haven Hospital. Dr. Sawh-Martinez later became the inaugural Yale University Craniofacial Surgery Fellow, serving with an appointment as a Clinical Instructor of the plastic and reconstructive surgery department.
During medical school at Yale, Dr. Sawh-Martinez spent two years as an NIH Research Fellow in the Vascular Tissue Engineering Laboratory that was the first in the world to implant tissue-engineered blood vessels into human infants to repair their congenital heart defects.
Dr. Sawh-Martinez has diligently researched advances to the plastic surgery industry with his interests leading to the authorship and co-authorship of over 30 peer-reviewed publications, multiple national and international research presentations, and several book chapters.

While he is highly skilled as a multifaceted aesthetic plastic surgeon, Dr. Sawh-Martinez is especially passionate about the performance of cleft lip and palate procedures, jaw and jaw distraction surgery, rhinoplasty, and craniosynostosis.
While performing orthognathic (jaw) surgery, Dr. Sawh-Martinez utilizes virtual surgical planning and custom 3D-printed plates and splints to further customize the outcome. This use of highly advanced, state-of-the-art technology sets him apart from other reconstructive surgeons in central Florida and further assists his ability to put his patients first.
